All authors and writers want to sell more books.
Book Marketing is changing.
With different strategies available for you to promote your book and increase sales, it's become clearer none of them will work in isolation. You need a combination.
Trends indicate readers don't want to consume content in just one format alone.
The written word is not enough to reach your ideal reader even when it comes to you promoting your book. Your reader wants choice. Wants to choose how they engage and interact with you - their smartphone and or tablet gives them the power to decide.
Every author has to embrace providing content in word, audio and video formats to maximise their efforts and reach a wider audience.
I advocate for authors to include podcasts and podcast interviews as part of their book marketing plan. No, not setting up a podcast on any of the platforms like iTunes - that should be considered a long term strategy to grow your author brand.
I get podcasting is growing rapidly. And with so much information available, it's easy to get confused, and miss out on the true value it offers you as an author.
While iTunes has over one billion subscribers, CarPlay - Apple's software technology to integrate with iPhones makes using podcast interviews a more important development for authors. Over 40 car manufacturers have signed up to integrate this technology into their audio systems. This significantly increases the reach of you and your book.
If you want the right approach to creating the right strategy to include in your marketing plan, my book: 'How to use Podcasts to promote your book' released on April 13th, gives a step by step guide to use.
But interviews on iTunes and other podcasting platforms are not suited to everyone and or not everyone wants to be interviewed on podcast shows.
If that's you, I'm here to provide you with the right strategies to use to promote your book more effectively and get more exposure through the bespoke interview service I offer.
The difference between going on a podcast show and my service?
